AXIS MUNDI – the world axis or world tree – is an in-depth training in ancestral and contemporary shamanism for beginners, advanced and professional practitioners. You learn tools for your self-practice, as well as advanced techniques for your professional use. Above all, you discover and refine your own shamanic cosmology and craft, instead of following a given protocol or system. You explore and deepen your very own ways of conscious living, spiritual practice, and ritual facilitation. You receive personal guidance and supervision from Israel, Katharina, as well as the ancestors and spirit guides working with and through them.

Immersive workshops are an experiential exploration and grounded in Israel’s and Katharina’s own living craft. They offer direct self-experiences, wisdom teachings, practical exercises, and space for your own growth and insight.

In-depth trainings focus on your skill development and inner mastery. They include advanced teachings and techniques from different shamanic traditions (Curanderismo, Seidr, Celtic, Mongolian, and core shamanism). Much space is given to your own ritual work and facilitation practice. And all is embedded in personal growth, integrity, and safety.

AXIS MUNDI is a cyclical way of learning, applying, and deepening – not hierarchic or linear. All modules repeat annually, allowing you to choose the depth and move at your own pace. Join for a few week-ends, the full year, or walk the wheel again and again as you deepen your path.
Irrespective if you are simply curious, or already a shamanic practitioner, witch, energy worker, holistic healer, or therapist. No matter if you are a committed beginner or experienced shaman, if you are on a spiritual path or an intellectual atheist. AXIS MUNDI offers you the depth and breadth to deepen your journey no matter where you are on your path.

Beginners curious about shamanic work can choose whichever immersive workshops and full modules they want to join. With deep commitment, they can also directly opt for the full annual cycle.
Most modules do not require prior knowledge to explore their themes for the first time. The exception to this are the foundational and advanced shamanic healing practices - they do require a solid basis in communicating with Spirit and ritual work (which is therefore taught earlier in the year). It is still possible to participate in them as a beginner though, often having the opportunity to receive healing when the more advanced practitioners get to practice!
Participants with prior knowledge are welcome to join individual modules through GAIA, or the full annual cycle within POLARIS.
The practitioner path within POLARIS usually takes a minimum of 2-3 years, often longer depending on the depth and mastery required to serve. The cyclical nature of the modules allows you to go deeper every year, expanding your knowledge, practice, and consciousness. To develop a comprehensive tool kit, and focus on nurturing your specific gifts simultaneously.
The sacred container of AXIS MUNDI is by no means limited to Israel's and Katharina's way of working. It is curated to enable and empower you to walk your own path - however this may unfold for you. You receive the guidance you need from your own Spirit guides through rituals, ceremonies, and mediumship encounters - coupled with the human support from Israel and Katharina.
